Our Programs

Our programs are rooted in a shared mission: to promote physical, spiritual, and communal healing through surfing, education, and recreation. Together, they create a pathway for connection - bringing people into relationship with the ocean, with one another, and with themselves in ways that are grounded in safety, culture, and joy.

We organize our work across three interconnected areas: Ocean Access, Healing & Cultural Reconnection, which centers direct experiences in and around the water; Education, Storytelling & Collective Healing, which uplifts knowledge, identity, and narrative change; and Healing + Justice - Justice, Access, & Paradigm Shifts which advances the systems, policies, and partnerships needed to ensure equitable, safe, and thriving coastlines for all.

Ocean Access, Healing & Cultural Reconnection

Reclaiming joy, safety, and belonging in the water. Physical, emotional, and communal healing through ocean and water play.

We provide Black /BIPOC communities with safe, supportive, and joyful opportunities to engage with the ocean, water, and community through recreating, surfing, swimming, and embodied practices. These programs focus on building water confidence, cultural grounding, and communal healing.
